# Video Tagger Adult Plugins

> Adult-only, opt-in metadata plugins for local video libraries. 18+ only.

## What this area covers

This documentation area describes optional adult-oriented metadata plugins for Video Tagger, a local-first macOS app that organizes movie and TV libraries. The plugins covered here are:

- **JAV Metadata Plugin** — matches Japanese adult videos to public metadata databases and writes local sidecar files.
- **H-Anime Metadata Plugin** — matches adult animation files to episode/studio metadata and writes local sidecar files.

These plugins are **not** included in the Mac App Store version of Video Tagger. They are distributed separately via this adult subdomain and must be installed manually from manifest URLs.

## How to install

1. Install the standalone (non-MAS) build of Video Tagger from the main site.
2. Open Settings → Plugins → Add Plugin from URL.
3. Paste the manifest URL:
   - JAV: https://pub-21e5726d7c9e474197855ffc60c11c70.r2.dev/jav/latest.json
   - H-Anime: https://pub-21e5726d7c9e474197855ffc60c11c70.r2.dev/h-anime/latest.json
4. Confirm the plugin hash and install.

## Data sources and privacy

- The plugins fetch **metadata only** (titles, cast, covers, release dates) from public online databases.
- All processing happens on your Mac.
- No library contents, viewing history, or metadata queries are sent to us.
- We do not host, distribute, or index adult videos.

## Legal and age restriction

- You must be at least 18 years old to access this area.
- The plugins only organize metadata for files you already own.
- You are responsible for complying with the laws in your jurisdiction.
